I promised I would never use that phrase, but I find it quite appropriate in this situation...

Jack: Daddy, do you know how much I love you?
Jon: How much Jack?
Jack: All the way to Mars.

Then...

Jack: Mommy, do you know how much I love you?
Angie: How much?
Jack: To the top of that tree right over there.
