If I had a dollar...

If I had a dollar for every funny thing Jack said, I would probably have at least a thousand dollars by now. The one thing we probably hear the most from other parents, usually with teenage or grown children, is they wished they had written down all the funny things their children said or did. This post will be updated frequently with funny thoughts or phrases by Jack Tyner.

3. Angie: What did you do at church tonight?
Jack: We jumped on the jumpy things and then played the quiet game?
Angie: Oh really? Who won?
Jack: I don't remember, but it sure wasn't me.

2. Jack: Paco rhymes with taco.
Angie: That's right!
Jack: ...which rhymes with quesadilla.

1. Jack screaming: Mommy, come change the channel. This big purple dinosaur (Barney) really freaks me out!!!

Proud Parents

So, since it has been quite some time since Jon has posted anything on his blog, I figured I would take over temporarily. My posts will always be short and usually with a picture...hints my short attention span and visual learning.

Jack, as many of you know, was recently the ringbearer in Ryan and Lindsey Wingo's wedding. He wasn't too sure about it, especially dressing up. He was just not up for wearing a bear costume. Once we explained the "ringbear" was actually the "ringbearer" who wore a tux and shiny shoes, he was in. Not to mention the trip to Build-a-Bear he could earn for completing the task of walking up the aisle, sitting quietly through the wedding, and walking back out.

Well, he did it. He was the most adorable little 4-year-old in a tux with shiny shoes at that wedding. As soon as he saw himself on the "big TV's" in the worship center, he turned on his charm. Luckily, the cameras stayed on Jack and the sweet little flowergirl he was escorting, and not on the two goobs sitting in the front row smiling ear to ear as our little boy did exactly as we asked him to do.
